Fishing with Kids

Few picts showing the fun, quality time we have on our local river with our girls. Less fish hooked per trip, but more smiles and happier little girls. Easy to get them away from cheap plastic toys and TV with flowing river and some basic little spin rods. Youngest gets plastic toy to throw, oldest gets Rapalla lure with no treble hooks…Great use for the Work 6″ pliers – removing the treble hooks on lures. This feature is overlooked by most of us who use the pliers to remove weight while fly fishing, but it’s a great one when introducing kids to the sport of fishing. Easier to learn on the spin rod, fly will come later.
